Comparison of various file formats in a web browser

The graphic files below exist on the server and are being sent to your browser, but your browser may not handle some of the different file formats. If there's a box with an "X" or a "?", your browser doesn't support the file format and can't display it.

The number of file formats supported will vary from browser to browser. For example, the TIF file format won't display in Firefox, Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 or 8, but it does display in v.9 and in Safari on a Mac OSX system.
