Production Tip: Working with very large files
West Coast Imaging employs an OU VisCom graduate, and they sometimes work with very large files scanned from 4"x5" or larger film. Because these files often exceed 300MB, working with them can be very slow.

West Coast Imaging has produced a video showing how to create "Guide Files" where you work on smaller proxies, then upsize the guide file to match the original, and finally paste the original file in as a new layer underneath Adjustment Layers corrections. View the videos in the Guide File Workflow folder in Exercises 6 for details.
