A Fanfare FM-2G whip antenna was mounted to the back side of the house. In an unusual installation procedure (as you'll see), the coax is routed through the downspout.

Ideally the antenna should be mounted higher, but this antenna was used for "practice" for installing a larger Radio Shack/Antennacraft antenna later on. This antenna feeds a tuner in a basement room.
