Undoing a "Keychain Lockout" on the VisCom lab computers
If someone has used a Keychain password for their network class volume, you
will not be able to access your own class volume. However there is an easy fix:
- Open the Mac's hard drive ( double-click the Macintosh HD icon on
Desktop)
- Click the Applications choice in the left column to display a listing of
programs
- Scroll down to Utilities and click it to display the contents
- Find Keychain Access.app and open the program
- Highlight all the entries, and press the Backspace/Delete key on the
keyboard to delete them
- Be sure you are logged off of any network volume (drag to trash)
Now you should be ready to use the login name and password for your own class
to access the proper volume.
