North Creek Echo project

North Creek was a supplier of kits having nicely designed crossovers and supplied tested components with tight tolerances. My first kit was a North Creek Echo - a 5" two-way system. When the box with the drivers and crossover components arrived, I was blown away by the sheer weight of the components for such a modest system. The inductors for the crossover were wound from large gauge copper wire, and contributed significantly to the mass.
